the heart of the matter......

Heart shaped stones collected from some of our journeys.

Some more knitting!!

Recycled cotton cardigan, Lion brand pattern

I don't put ALL of my work online, just some of it. I'm a bit superstitious about some works in progress. Also, I'm STILL coming to terms with being on view, for all to see. It's not that I don't want to share...Sabbath (our cat) on the other hand thinks it's ALL about him! Trying to take photos of a cotton cardigan just completed, Sabbath felt it was time for his online debut!

Cloth Paper Scissors Publication

Late last year I entered the "Mother Earth Doll"challenge from the Cloth Paper Scissors mixed media publication. I was fortunate enough to become a semifinalist and then a finalist with my work published in the current issue! It's quite a simple piece, but I'm quite pleased with it. Many thanks to Barbara and Pokey!!

Spirit of Tasmania

The "big Spud The Bay of Fires The Bay of Fires

We just spent a lovely week in Tasmania! The nine-hour ferry cruise to the island, was very pleasant. Lovely views and plenty of time to catch up on some knitting and reading. Tasmania itself was a delight! We drove up and down the length of the island through mountainous tree fern forrests and bathed in pristine coastal beaches! Tried local wines, cheeses and chocolate....doesn't get much better than that!
